The story

The night of August 12, 1989, in a quiet French suburb. Two years after her father vanished, Sam, 15, an electronics whiz, has come to believe he simply walked out on her and her mother.

But tonight, the house seems to be trying to tell her something: a notebook full of invisible ink, a box that was never meant to be opened, an antenna pointed at the sky… And Kernel, her father's cat, seems to know the way.

What if Dad didn’t leave by choice?

Sam's bedroom, that night.

Studio Triode

A tiny independent studio from France. Triode, like the valve in old radios: it slowly warms up in the dark, and then the signal comes through.
